Invented new designs and printing techniques for a 300% increase in total product offerings at Keyscaper. One innovation included creating a spot-print artwork system where designs were easy to adapt and replicate across multiple properties, while allowing the underlying materials of the products to show through. This can be seen in the pictured Florida Gators and Ohio State phone cases. Another innovation was in response to a problem of ink cracking on our flexible products. The process I invented is proprietary, but the results can be seen in the photos above. That process also allowed the opportunity to create various eye-catching textures that were carried across to non-flexible product lines such as the carbon fiber texture shown above.
PROCESS DESIGN AND CONFIGURATION
Although the process workflows I designed are proprietary (specific task titles have been masked), the image above is an example of a New Product Introduction workflow that I designed and implemented. Using the pictured software each task was assigned to a responsible party who was notified when the task became active and was expected to mark it as completed when finished. This would then activate the dependent tasks and so on. Combining this with time tracking, sidecar documents, and other tracking processes ensured smooth and on-schedule product launches.
Taking products from concept to retail is one of my specialties. This includes product configuration, packaging design, and process design and management.
